The Office of Finance

Allen joined the U.T. System in September 2012 and is responsible for managing the System’s various financing programs on behalf of the academic and health-related institutions as well as providing support for investment oversight of the System’s endowment and operating funds. Allen is also responsible for analyzing the System’s capital projects and initiatives on behalf of the institutions and provides support for quantitative analysis of the System’s financial position and debt/swap portfolios. Prior to joining the System, Allen was a Vice President with Prager & Company in San Francisco, where he worked for eleven years as an investment banker and a financial advisor specializing in higher education and not-for-profit finance. Allen earned an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California in Berkeley in 2009 and a BA degree in Physics and Mathematics from Claremont McKenna College in 2001.

Monica joined the U.T. System in January 2012 and is responsible for managing the System’s banking and merchant agreements on behalf of the System’s academic and health-related institutions as well as providing support for Treasury related enterprise resource planning projects for the UT Share cohort, in addition to oversight of System Administration treasury activities. Prior to joining the System, Monica held various roles during her fourteen year career at Freescale Semiconductor (formerly Motorola, now NXP) beginning as a Site Planner supporting Facilities and Corporate Real Estate and transitioning to a Financial Analyst role supporting Treasury and then R&D. Monica is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and earned an MBA from St. Edwards University and Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Texas at Austin.

Robin joined the U.T. System in November 2014 and is responsible for providing analysis and execution of financing activities for the System’s academic and health-related institutions, including debt issuance, debt service, financial reporting, and other investment-related activities. Robin is also involved in the planning, structuring, and closing of various debt and derivative transactions, as well as coordinating the fixed and variable rate debt service payments. Prior to joining the System, Robin was an Asset Manager for a private equity company in Austin, where she managed the strategic business plans, cash flow activities, and performance trends of various student housing assets around the country. Robin earned an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin in 2011 and a BA in political science from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 2004.

Justin joined the U.T. System in June 2018 and is responsible for managing treasury related activities, coordinating with System departments and institutions, monthly treasury accounting and reconciliations and is a member of Staff Council. Justin was born and raised in Appleton, WI and attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where he obtained a BS in Business Finance. He moved back to Appleton to start his post collegiate career as an accountant. A few years of accounting and a longing for a better climate inspired him to move to Austin where he enjoys spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoys playing and watching basketball, spending time with his dog, Bailey, and talking personal finance.

Anita joined the U.T. System in January 2023 and shares responsibility for managing treasury related activities, coordinating with System departments and institutions, monthly treasury accounting and departmental reconciliations. Prior to joining the System, Anita held global treasury roles at PayPal and a regional cash management role at Siemens. Anita is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and obtained her BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
